The final round of D1NZ 2019 was held at Manfeild this year. Day one saw us consistently going lap for lap gaining good seat time in the Falken S15, giving me some very strong runs before qualifying.
Pulling off two huge qualifying runs, I qualified 3rd heading into battles day. A bye run into top 16 saw us up against Jerry Zhu, who had been looking very strong all weekend. Our chase run saw us door to door the whole track and our lead run had us pulling away from Jerry, giving us the win and putting us through to top 8 against Dave Steedman. My Battle with Dave saw us both having strong lead and chase runs, with the judges then ruling an OMT. During the OMT my lead run was perfect however, on my chase I made a mistake and straight lined giving Dave the win.
